Plant them in gritty, well draining soil, give at least 4-5 hours of direct morning sunlight. They need very very very minimal water. Indigenous to Africa and South Africa, they grow in harsh, dry conditions very well.
Only the top of the plant needs to be above your soil, as the ‘windows’ are how they process photosynthesis. Also known as Split Rocks’ and other names, you’ll enjoy gazing at them.
